The Pitt’s 25 nominations, the highest total this cycle and nearly double its rookie haul, position the HBO Max medical drama as the clear frontrunner for a strong but not record-setting win total. Its 13 acting bids are spread across categories with significant internal competition—four supporting actress nominees alone—limiting potential acting sweeps despite critical praise for Season 2’s realistic ER storytelling and ensemble depth. Early Creative Arts results delivered four wins, including guest actor and technical categories, leaving the main September 14 telecast to decide major prizes like Outstanding Drama Series and Noah Wyle’s lead actor bid, where it remains the market favorite. Traders see 4-5 total wins as the consensus range given historical voting patterns and competition from shows like Widow’s Bay, with upside capped by split acting fields and downside limited by proven momentum.

This market will resolve according to the number of Emmys won by "The Pitt," or by people for their roles in "The Pitt," awarded during the live Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony, expected to be held on September 14, 2026. Awards presented at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards (September 5–6, 2026) will not count toward this market's resolution.
Each award will count once even if it has multiple recipients.
If the Primetime Emmys are partially awarded by September 30, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve according to the number of awards won by the specified show up until that point. If, for any reason, no winners are declared by September 30, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket.
The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences and the Emmys, including data from their websites (e.g. https://theemmys.tv/, https://www.televisionacademy.com/) and the live broadcast of the award ceremony, however a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
