With the 2026-27 A-League Men season opening in mid-October, the market for the side posting the most clean sheets sits tightly bunched because every club enters preseason with broadly comparable defensive foundations and no decisive form edge from the prior campaign. Recent title winners Auckland FC and high-placed Newcastle Jets share strong recent records on goals conceded alongside sides such as Sydney FC and Melbourne City, yet roster turnover, new goalkeepers, and tactical adjustments under fresh coaching staffs leave the outcome wide open. Traders therefore price each of the 12 teams near even odds, reflecting the wisdom of crowds that any club could top the clean-sheet table once the 26-match regular season unfolds.
