The tightly clustered probabilities for the 2026-27 Bundesliga runner-up reflect the league's depth and the absence of a clear second-place frontrunner early in the campaign. Borussia Dortmund sits at the front of trader consensus on the back of squad continuity and attacking depth, yet SC Freiburg, SV Elversberg, and TSG Hoffenheim remain within a few percentage points because recent form, transfer reinforcements, and fixture schedules have produced comparable outlooks across the mid-to-upper table. Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen trail further back amid expectations they will prioritize the title or European commitments, leaving a wide group of sides with realistic paths to second place depending on how early results and injury situations evolve.

If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of Bundesliga for the 2026-27 season per the rules of Bundesliga (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No".
If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source will be official information from the Bundesliga; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
