The A-League Men’s 2026-27 campaign opens in mid-October with all 12 clubs bunched tightly in runner-up markets due to pronounced parity. Newcastle Jets enter as defending premiers, Auckland FC as reigning champions, and Melbourne Victory as early favorites after major off-season recruitment, yet salary caps, even squad depth, and distributed recent success among Adelaide United, Sydney FC, Melbourne City, and others limit separation. Pre-season transfer windows, coaching adjustments, and the absence of any completed matches keep implied probabilities level, reflecting the league’s history of upsets and narrow points gaps in regular-season standings.

If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of A League Soccer for the 2026-27 season per the rules of A League Soccer (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No".
If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source will be official information from the A League Soccer; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
