Recent polling ahead of the October 5 election shows the Parti Québécois maintaining a lead near 29 percent, followed closely by the Coalition Avenir Québec near 23-24 percent, positioning the Quebec Liberal Party for a consistent third-place finish in the popular vote at around 20-22 percent. Regional patterns reinforce this outlook, with PLQ strength concentrated on the Island of Montreal while trailing elsewhere. The CAQ has posted modest gains under new leadership since the campaign began in late August, narrowing its gap with the PQ in some surveys but remaining vulnerable to further slippage. Québec Solidaire and the Parti Conservateur du Québec register lower single-digit to mid-teen support, limiting their prospects for overtaking the Liberals in overall standing. Trader consensus reflects these stable vote-share hierarchies and the limited volatility observed in the most recent surveys.
