Drake London enters the 2026 season as the Falcons’ undisputed WR1 with a new four-year, $141 million extension, maintaining elite target shares near 27 percent in recent years. Quarterback instability has immediately shaped early outcomes: Week 1 featured third-stringer Cooper Rush under center due to Michael Penix Jr.’s knee recovery and Tua Tagovailoa’s oblique injury, limiting London to two catches for 29 yards with zero touchdowns. New head coach Kevin Stefanski’s run-oriented scheme and improved offensive line could boost red-zone opportunities for the 6-foot-4 receiver, though passing volume may decline. London posted nine receiving touchdowns in 2024 and seven in 12 games in 2025; his 2026 total will hinge on QB health, target concentration versus Bijan Robinson and Kyle Pitts, and schedule strength. Week 2 against a vulnerable Panthers secondary offers an early test of rebound potential.
