Miranda Lambert and Chris Stapleton’s “A Song To Sing” holds the strongest trader consensus at 56% implied probability for CMA Musical Event of the Year, driven by its July 2025 release, radio success, and the pair’s high-profile 2025 CMA performance that highlighted their chemistry on a buoyant, tradition-rooted duet. The category remains competitive among five star-powered nominees, with Ella Langley and Morgan Wallen’s “I Can’t Love You Anymore” at 25.5% reflecting Langley’s overall nomination dominance and streaming strength, though tempered by broader industry dynamics around Wallen. Lower-priced entries like Kacey Musgraves and Miranda Lambert’s “Horses and Divorces,” Carly Pearce and Riley Green’s track, and the multi-artist “McArthur” each bring notable name recognition and producer pedigrees but trail in current momentum. With the November 18 ceremony two months away, recent critical reception, additional airplay gains, and any late vocal endorsements from key voters could still shift positioning in this wide-open field.
