Malcolm Todd’s “Earrings” commands 98% market-implied odds for the #2 spot on the upcoming global Spotify weekly chart because it has locked into a consistent second-place trajectory with roughly 22 million weekly streams, comfortably ahead of the clustered pack at 21–22 million. Its delayed 2026 breakthrough, fueled by sustained TikTok engagement and strong playlist placement, continues to deliver steady global consumption even as newer releases like “BbY WOW” dominate the top position. Traders see limited room for a realistic upset unless one of the mid-tier tracks experiences an abrupt viral spike or promotional surge that narrows the gap before the chart locks. The proximity of the September 18 cutoff leaves little time for such momentum shifts to materialize.
