Romeo Doubs enters the 2026 season as the Patriots’ clear No. 2 wide receiver behind newly acquired A.J. Brown after signing a four-year deal in free agency from Green Bay. In 2025 he posted career-best receiving production with 55 catches for 724 yards and six touchdowns while leading the Packers in end-zone targets. His Week 1 debut yielded zero catches on three targets, but Brown’s ankle injury could expand Doubs’ role and red-zone opportunities in New England’s pass-heavy scheme with quarterback Drake Maye. Projections place him in the low-to-mid single digits for season-long receiving touchdowns, heavily influenced by target distribution, Brown’s availability, and the team’s overall passing volume.
