Kyle Pitts enters the 2026 NFL season coming off a career-best 2025 campaign with 88 receptions, 928 yards, and five receiving touchdowns. The Atlanta Falcons’ new head coach Kevin Stefanski runs one of the league’s most tight-end-centric offenses, which has historically funneled targets and red-zone opportunities to the position. Pitts secured a three-year, $54 million extension in June, locking in his role as a top option behind Drake London. Preseason chemistry with the quarterback room was positive, though Week 1 uncertainty with Tua Tagovailoa’s oblique injury and Michael Penix Jr.’s knee recovery introduces short-term variability in passing volume. His athletic profile and prior December surge support continued touchdown production in a scheme built for tight-end involvement.
