Recent polling aggregates show the Parti Québécois maintaining a narrow lead in popular vote and seat projections ahead of the October 5 election, followed closely by the Coalition Avenir Québec and Quebec Liberals, with the Conservatives and Québec Solidaire gaining regional traction. This positioning supports trader consensus around the Quebec Liberal Party finishing third, as its support has declined steadily while the CAQ rebounds modestly under its new leader and the Conservatives consolidate strength outside Montreal. Vote fragmentation across five parties, particularly in suburban and Quebec City ridings, increases the likelihood of a tight ordering behind the PQ plurality, with limited movement in recent surveys leaving the current implied probabilities largely stable.
