Current National Weather Service forecasts and supporting model guidance point to a Friday high in the upper 70s to low 80s under sunny skies after a cold front clears the region, driving the tight clustering of market-implied odds around 78–81 °F. Light southeast winds and moderating September climatology—normal highs near 78 °F—limit stronger warming, while clear conditions favor efficient daytime heating without significant cloud cover or precipitation to suppress temperatures. Ensemble spread remains modest, reflecting typical late-summer variability in peak timing and boundary-layer mixing. Traders are weighting the consensus guidance heavily, with limited probability assigned to outliers above 82 °F or below 76 °F pending the next model cycle and morning observations.
