Lukáš Hájek of Starostové pro Liberecký kraj holds the narrowest edge in trader pricing for the October 2026 communal elections, reflecting the party's eight-year incumbency and recent decision to field him as successor to retiring mayor Jaroslav Zámečník. The field remains fragmented after TOP 09 and KDU-ČSL exited their prior coalition to run separately as Liberecká 9 behind Zdeněk Chmelík, while ANO advances Tomáš Rec on a distinct platform. This multiparty competition, combined with local priorities around transport, housing, and municipal services, sustains tight probabilities across leading contenders without a decisive early polling or endorsement shift. Upcoming campaign milestones through September could widen gaps if turnout patterns or coalition signals emerge.
