**Avengers: Doomsday** is on track for its December 18, 2026 release, driving the market's 96.7% "No" consensus on delay. Principal photography wrapped in September 2025 after starting the prior April, with the Russo brothers now deep in post-production and editing a large-scale ensemble featuring Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom alongside extensive MCU crossovers. Disney previously shifted the date from May 2026 to allow extra time, and recent updates include confirmed UK screenings two days early, active presales, and multiple trailers, signaling stable momentum. Realistic upset scenarios remain limited but could include unforeseen VFX complications or test-screening-driven reshoots in the final weeks, though the completed shoot and focused studio priority on this tentpole reduce those odds substantially.
