The 2026 SEC rushing touchdowns race remains tightly bunched early in the season, with trader consensus reflecting broad parity among a deep group of running backs rather than any dominant frontrunner. Preseason standouts such as Kewan Lacy at Ole Miss, Jadan Baugh at Florida, Ahmad Hardy at Missouri, and others including Raleek Brown, Nate Frazier, and Rueben Owens II enter with comparable workloads and supporting offenses, while Week 1 results like Baugh’s multi-touchdown outing have not yet created separation. Conference-wide depth, variable offensive schemes, potential injuries or recoveries, and the extended schedule ahead sustain uncertainty, keeping implied probabilities clustered near even across dozens of candidates and the field.
