Republican incumbent Nick Begich III holds a strong position in Alaska’s at-large House race following the August 18 top-four primary, where he captured 44.6% to independent Bill Hill’s 32.5%, with Democratic candidates trailing far behind before several withdrawals. Forecasters rate the contest Likely Republican, consistent with the state’s partisan lean and Begich’s 2024 victory. Recent polls show Begich ahead of Hill by double digits in head-to-head matchups under ranked-choice voting, supported by his incumbency, fundraising edge, and Trump endorsement. The absence of a viable Democratic contender after the primary has kept Democratic odds low, while trader consensus reflects limited signs of momentum shifts for Hill in the final weeks before November 3.
