This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed club is determined as the runner-up of the LaLiga for the 2026-27 season. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of LaLiga for the 2026-27 season per the rules of LaLiga (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the LaLiga; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Real Madrid leads the runner-up market at 63.5% implied probability due to Barcelona’s early dominance in the 2026-27 LaLiga campaign, where Hansi Flick’s side sits unbeaten at 5-0-0 with a +17 goal difference and heavy scoring from players like Raphinha, Lamine Yamal, and new additions including Rodri and Anthony Gordon. José Mourinho’s return to Real Madrid has stabilized the squad despite multiple injuries, with Kylian Mbappé, Vinicius Júnior, and Yan Diomande providing consistent output as the team sits second in the standings. Pre-season models from Opta and others positioned Barcelona as the strongest title favorite, elevating Madrid’s consensus position as the most probable second-place finisher. Lower-priced sides such as Celta Vigo, Rayo Vallecano, and Atlético Madrid reflect limited early momentum and roster gaps that reduce their realistic paths to a top-two finish.
