Recent National Weather Service and ensemble model guidance point to a Denver high temperature on September 23 in the mid-to-upper 70s, with trader consensus split between the 76–77°F and 78–79°F outcomes at roughly 27% and 25.5% implied probability. Increasing cloud cover and a modest chance of afternoon thunderstorms are the main factors capping potential warming, while light easterly flow and near-normal moisture limit strong diurnal heating. These conditions align closely with the long-term September average high near 77°F at Denver International Airport. Model spread on exact cloud timing and convective coverage creates the narrow distribution across adjacent bins, with fresh guidance expected from the next NWS forecast updates.
