LASK enters the 2026-27 Austrian Bundesliga as defending champions with an unbeaten start and the highest projected strength rating, yet the runner-up market remains tightly bunched because Salzburg has undergone a major rebuild under new coach Danny Röhl with multiple high-profile additions, while Sturm Graz, Rapid Wien, Austria Wien, and Wolfsberger AC have all strengthened squads through targeted transfers and shown competitive early form. The league’s format—full points carried into the championship round among the top six—amplifies small differences in consistency and European commitments, leaving traders to view second place as highly contested among clubs with comparable depth and recent head-to-head records.

If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of Austrian Bundesliga for the 2026-27 season per the rules of Austrian Bundesliga (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No".
If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source will be official information from the Austrian Bundesliga; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
