Several competitive clubs in the Liga FUTVE maintain strong positions across the Apertura and ongoing Clausura stages, keeping implied probabilities for the 2026 runner-up tightly bunched near even odds. Deportivo La Guaira, Metropolitanos, and Deportivo Táchira lead recent Clausura matchweeks with solid records and positive goal differences, while Carabobo, already Apertura champions, and teams like Universidad Central and Portuguesa show consistent form that could propel any of them into the grand final. Balanced squad depth, favorable home results, and the split-tournament format create multiple realistic paths to the decisive match, sustaining trader consensus around a wide group of contenders with no single side pulling clear.

If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of Venezuelan Primera División for the 2026 season per the rules of Venezuelan Primera División (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No".
If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If this event is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source will be official information from the Venezuelan Primera División; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
