The tightly bunched probabilities around 38% for multiple sides in the K League 2 runner-up market reflect a highly competitive promotion race with roughly eight rounds remaining. Suwon Samsung Bluewings hold a narrow lead, but Suwon FC, Seoul E-Land, Daegu FC, Hwaseong FC, and Busan IPark sit within striking distance on points, goal difference, and recent results. Seoul E-Land’s 2-1 victory over Daegu on September 19 swapped their positions and highlighted how single matches can shift momentum. Expanded league size, inconsistent form across mid-table clubs, and the double round-robin format have kept gaps narrow, allowing several teams realistic paths to second place depending on remaining fixtures and head-to-head outcomes.

If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of K League 2 for the 2026 season per the rules of K League 2 (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No".
If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If this event is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source will be official information from the K League 2; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
