Ritchie Torres maintains overwhelming trader support in the NY-15 House race due to the district's longstanding Democratic dominance in the Bronx and his decisive June 2026 primary victory, where he captured roughly 72 percent of the vote against intraparty challengers. Forecasters rate the seat solid Democratic, consistent with Torres's 76 percent margin in 2024 and the area's consistent preference for Democratic candidates in House contests. Sapaskis, the Republican nominee, faces structural barriers including limited name recognition and the district's partisan composition. Scenarios that could narrow Torres's position include major late-breaking scandals, health developments, or an unforeseen national political shift boosting Republican turnout, though such factors would need to overcome entrenched local voting patterns to meaningfully alter the outcome before the November 3 general election.

A candidate's party will be determined by their ballot-listed or otherwise identifiable affiliation with that party at the time all of the 2026 House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources. A candidate without a ballot-listed affiliation to either the Democrat or Republican parties will be considered a member of one of these parties based on the party with which they most recently expressed their intent to caucus at the time all of the House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources.
This market will resolve based on the result of the election as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve based solely on the official results as reported by the United States government, specifically the Federal Election Commission (https://www.fec.gov/).
