Arsenal’s status as defending champions and clear title favorites, backed by an elite defense, deep midfield, and strong early-season results including a win over Chelsea, positions Manchester City as the consensus runner-up at 34.5% implied probability. City’s perfect start under new manager Enzo Maresca, combined with Erling Haaland’s firepower and reinforcements like Elliot Anderson, sustains their edge despite Pep Guardiola’s departure. Chelsea’s improved attacking output and cohesion under Xabi Alonso support their 19% standing, while Manchester United and Liverpool trail amid squad transitions and inconsistent recent form. Lower contenders like Aston Villa face greater gaps in squad depth and momentum relative to the top three.
