Malcolm Todd’s “Earrings” dominates trader sentiment for the #2 Spotify song this week because it currently sits at #2 on the global, U.S., and Canadian daily charts with roughly 3.5 million daily streams and sustained top-tier placement since its earlier #1 peaks. The track’s sleeper-hit momentum, fueled by TikTok virality and consistent playlist rotation, has kept it ahead of most competitors in recent weeks. With the September 18 cutoff approaching, traders see limited room for a sudden overtake absent a major new release or viral surge from another track. An upset would require one of the lower-probability songs to post an unusually sharp streaming spike in the final days.
