Roma and Juventus anchor trader expectations for the most clean sheets in the 2026-27 Serie A season due to their reinforced backlines and organizational focus under Gian Piero Gasperini and Luciano Spalletti. Roma sit top of the table after four matches with three clean sheets and the league’s stingiest defense, while Juventus have posted two shutouts in four games behind new goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario and a structured press that has limited high-quality chances. Both sides added experienced defenders and benefit from proven shot-stoppers, yet the full campaign’s length, European commitments, and fixture rotation introduce variance that keeps the implied probabilities closely bunched. Como’s surprising start adds a modest third option, but the established defensive pedigrees of the top two continue to shape the market’s primary divide.
