Bijan Robinson enters the 2026 NFL season as Atlanta’s lead back following a career-high 79 receptions for 820 yards and four receiving touchdowns in 2025. New head coach Kevin Stefanski’s scheme and the departure of Tyler Allgeier position Robinson for continued heavy passing-game involvement, supported by his three-year extension that makes him the NFL’s highest-paid running back. Backup Brian Robinson Jr. is expected to handle a complementary role rather than split third-down or receiving duties evenly. Key variables include quarterback play, red-zone target share alongside Drake London and Kyle Pitts, and how often the offense reaches scoring position. Historical data shows Robinson’s receiving touchdowns have ranged from one to four per season, reflecting both his dual-threat profile and variable goal-line usage.
