Bijan Robinson enters the 2026 NFL season coming off a 2025 campaign with 1,478 rushing yards on 287 carries, leading the league in scrimmage yards at 2,298 while adding 79 receptions. The Falcons exercised his fifth-year option and signed him to a three-year extension worth up to $75 million in August, securing the 24-year-old as the highest-paid running back. New head coach Kevin Stefanski and offensive coordinator Tommy Rees are blending gap/power concepts with zone elements to create more space for Robinson to reach the second level, while maintaining heavy screen usage. Atlanta faces quarterback uncertainty with Michael Penix Jr. sidelined and Tua Tagovailoa dealing with an oblique issue entering Week 1, potentially increasing reliance on the ground game. Robinson remains fully healthy with no injury concerns.
