PSV Eindhoven, Ajax, and Feyenoord remain tightly bunched in the 2026-27 Eredivisie runner-up market because each enters the campaign with meaningful roster upgrades and proven depth that could push any one of them into second behind a likely PSV title defense. PSV retained core attacking talent while adding midfield reinforcements such as Sven Mijnans and Kodai Sano after high-profile sales, supporting their early-season scoring rate. Ajax invested heavily in experience through signings including Julian Brandt, Marcos Leonardo, Daley Blind, and Marc-André ter Stegen under coach Míchel, narrowing the gap after last season’s fifth-place finish. Feyenoord, now led by Giovanni van Bronckhorst, maintained defensive structure and added attackers like Nacho Ferri while posting strong early results. The September Klassieker and AZ’s surprising start underscore how small margins in form, injuries, and European commitments could shift second-place probabilities among the traditional top clubs.

If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of Eredivisie for the 2026-27 season per the rules of Eredivisie (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No".
If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically.
If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source will be official information from the Eredivisie; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
