Cobreloa and Santiago Wanderers sit atop the 2026 Liga de Ascenso table with just two points separating them after 24 matches, directly driving the tight market pricing for runner-up. Wanderers hold a slim lead at 44 points while Cobreloa sit on 42, both well clear of San Luis and Magallanes on 41 and 40. Their September 26 clash at Zorros del Desierto represents the pivotal remaining fixture that could shift implied probabilities, as the runner-up earns a direct path into the promotion liguilla semifinals. Several mid-table sides retain mathematical playoff hopes but trail significantly in current form and goal difference, keeping the top-two contest the dominant factor reflected in trader consensus.
