The Colts visit the Chiefs on Sunday Night Football in Week 2, with Kansas City favored after a dominant 31-10 win over Denver featuring Patrick Mahomes’ post-ACL mobility and Kenneth Walker III’s 173 rushing yards. Indianapolis enters 0-1 following a 41-23 collapse against Baltimore that exposed defensive vulnerabilities and limited Daniel Jones to 166 passing yards in his return from Achilles surgery. Arrowhead Stadium’s home environment and primetime spotlight typically drive commentary toward Mahomes’ efficiency, the Chiefs’ improved ground attack, Jonathan Taylor’s workload, and the Colts’ eight-game losing streak. Injury updates on Chris Jones and the offensive line, plus historical matchup trends, shape the broadcast narrative in this lopsided matchup.
