St. Louis City SC enters this U.S. Open Cup semifinal on an unbeaten streak of 15 matches across competitions, highlighted by a recent 4-2 win over Minnesota United featuring braces from Rafael Navarro and strong contributions from Carlo Holse. This momentum offsets Colorado Rapids' home advantage at Dick's Sporting Goods Park, where the Rapids have posted a club-record streak of clean sheets and sit seventh in the Western Conference. Head-to-head results favor City SC, who claimed both 2026 MLS encounters 1-0, yet Colorado's defensive organization and playoff positioning create a balanced matchup. Multiple injuries on each side, including absences for Colorado's Zack Steffen and St. Louis' Kyle Hiebert, add further uncertainty to the single-elimination contest. The tight implied probabilities reflect these offsetting strengths in form, venue, and roster depth.
