Morena maintains a commanding position in trader consensus for the 2027 Mexican legislative election due to sustained leads in national polling averages, where the party registers 35-46% voting intention compared to single-digit or low-teen shares for PAN, PRI, and Movimiento Ciudadano. This reflects Morena’s control of the presidency under Claudia Sheinbaum, whose administration has advanced constitutional reforms with coalition support, alongside the party’s strong territorial organization and the fragmentation of opposition forces ahead of the June 2027 vote for all 500 Chamber of Deputies seats. Recent surveys from mid-2026 confirm the gap has held steady, with Morena’s coalition often exceeding 45% when including PVEM and PT allies. Shifts could arise from unified opposition alliances, changes in economic conditions, or late swings in undecided voters that narrow the effective preference margin.
