Ronaldo’s 41-year-old status and comments that the 2026-27 Saudi Pro League season with Al-Nassr is “probably” his last create broad uncertainty over whether he retires, extends in the Gulf, or moves elsewhere before his contract expires. Recent Al-Nassr results, including a heavy AFC Champions League defeat, limited summer spending, and a Saudi journalist’s January departure forecast have kept multiple European and North American leagues in contention without a clear frontrunner. Speculation linking him to a Sporting CP return, MLS sides, or even partial ownership of Al-Nassr itself adds further dispersion, while the absence of confirmed transfer interest or official retirement plans leaves trader consensus evenly spread across listed options.
