Puka Nacua enters the 2026 NFL season as the Los Angeles Rams' featured wide receiver after posting a league-leading 129 receptions, 1,715 yards, and 10 touchdowns in 16 games during 2025. His consistent target volume, yards per route run leadership, and involvement in the red zone with quarterback Matthew Stafford form the foundation for touchdown expectations, though Davante Adams drew a higher share of scoring opportunities in prior alignments. Nacua has cleared a psoas muscle issue and avoided the Week 1 injury report ahead of the Thursday night matchup against the 49ers in Australia, while reports indicate he is unlikely to face immediate discipline related to an off-field incident. The Rams' offensive continuity under new coordinator Nate Scheelhaase and projected contention for a Super Bowl berth support sustained scoring chances, though back-end schedule strength, health maintenance across 17 games, and defensive coverage trends will influence his final total.
