Pete Crow-Armstrong’s league-leading offensive output and overall value have driven the overwhelming trader consensus for the 2026 NL Hank Aaron Award. Through mid-September, the Cubs center fielder posts a .279/.372/.566 slash line with 42 home runs, 102 RBI, 37 stolen bases, and elite defense that supports roughly 10 fWAR, pacing for one of the strongest center-field seasons in decades while also positioning him as the NL MVP frontrunner. Other contenders trail far behind in power-speed combinations and advanced metrics. A late-September injury, sharp decline in production, or an unexpected voter emphasis on a single-category standout like Schwarber could still shift the outcome before ballots close.
