KB Home faces elevated risk of missing consensus EPS estimates for its fiscal third quarter ending August 31, with the market-implied probability of a beat at just 24.5%. The primary driver is a steep expected year-over-year earnings decline to around $0.90 per share from $1.61 in the prior-year period, reflecting softer housing demand amid elevated mortgage rates and affordability constraints that have pressured deliveries and margins. Recent results underscore the trend, including a Q2 miss of $0.43 versus estimates near $0.45 and a 27% revenue drop year over year, with the company guiding Q3 housing revenues of $1.20–1.35 billion. Analyst estimates have trended modestly lower in recent weeks, and broader sector challenges continue to weigh on near-term performance ahead of the September 22 release.

Note: The strike prices used in these markets reflect the selected street consensus estimate for GAAP EPS as of market creation.
Note: All figures will be rounded to the nearest cent using standard rounding.
Note: For the purposes of this market, IFRS EPS will be treated as GAAP EPS.
Note: GAAP EPS refers to diluted GAAP EPS, unless this is not published, in which case it refers to basic GAAP EPS.
Note: All figures are expressed in USD, unless otherwise indicated.
Note: For primarily internationally listed companies, this market refers specifically to the shares traded in the United States on U.S. stock exchanges such as the NYSE or Nasdaq.
