Colston Loveland enters the 2026 regular season as the Chicago Bears' lead tight end after a strong finish to his 2025 rookie campaign, where he posted 58 receptions for 713 yards and six touchdowns across 16 games while emerging as quarterback Caleb Williams' top target in the second half of the year. The former tenth overall pick benefited from the offseason trade of wide receiver DJ Moore, which expanded opportunities alongside Rome Odunze and Luther Burden in an offense expected to remain pass-oriented. Loveland is listed ahead of Cole Kmet on the depth chart, with no reported injuries heading into Week 1 against Carolina. His combination of size, route-running development, and late-season target share forms the core of current trader expectations for his touchdown output over the full 17-game schedule.
