Brian Thomas Jr. enters the 2026 season seeking a rebound after a sophomore slump that saw his receiving line fall from 87-1,282-10 as a 2024 rookie to 48-707-2 across 14 games in 2025. Multiple injuries (ankle, shoulder, wrist) and a high drop rate contributed to sharply reduced targets amid competition from Jakobi Meyers and Parker Washington in the Jaguars' passing attack under new head coach Liam Coen. The 23-year-old cleared a recent shoulder scare in training camp and is expected to be active for Week 1 against the Browns, with Jacksonville emphasizing improved chemistry with quarterback Trevor Lawrence and a larger role. Traders weigh his elite athletic profile and historical third-year WR improvement against questions over sustained target volume and offensive scheme fit.
