This market will resolve according to the team that wins the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations. If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed team to win the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations per the rules of CAF (e.g., they are eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The primary resolution source will be official information from CAF; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The early stage of AFCON 2027 qualifying, with group-stage windows opening in September 2026, leaves trader consensus tightly bunched because no side has yet built a decisive edge through results. South Africa and Morocco sit at the front with implied probabilities near 24% and 23% respectively, reflecting their recent continental showings, depth in attack, and consistent FIFA rankings. Cameroon, Zambia, and DR Congo follow closely on the back of strong recent form and experienced squads, while Nigeria, Senegal, and Egypt remain in the mix despite tougher draws. The three co-hosts (Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda) receive automatic entry but trail in pricing due to lower historical pedigree. With six matchdays still ahead and roster changes possible, the field stays competitive until clearer qualification trends emerge.
