Group F of the AFCON 2027 qualifiers pits Burkina Faso, Benin, Mauritania, and Central African Republic against each other in a balanced four-team setup, with the first matchday fixtures set for late September 2026. Burkina Faso enters with the strongest recent form from friendlies and higher FIFA ranking, yet the absence of prior group results leaves room for any side to claim the top spot through home advantage, set-piece execution, or defensive organization. Benin and Mauritania bring solid mid-tier experience and head-to-head resilience, while Central African Republic faces the steepest challenge but could capitalize on upsets. This even distribution of implied probabilities reflects the tight margins typical in compact African qualifying groups where small differences in squad depth and travel factors often decide outcomes.
