This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed club is determined as the runner-up of the A League Soccer for the 2026-27 season. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of A League Soccer for the 2026-27 season per the rules of A League Soccer (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the A League Soccer; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The A-League Men enters the 2026-27 campaign with unusual parity after Newcastle Jets claimed the 2025-26 Premiership and Auckland FC lifted the championship trophy in the Grand Final. Multiple clubs return with settled squads and proven recent form, including Adelaide United’s attacking style, Melbourne Victory’s Australia Cup run, and Macarthur FC’s midfield engine. Coaching transitions at several sides and the league’s salary-cap structure further level the field, while historical patterns of mid-table swings and strong home/away splits keep outcomes unpredictable. Trader consensus reflects this depth, with no side holding a decisive edge in implied probability for runner-up status.
