A'ja Wilson holds a commanding position in the WNBA blocks per game market due to her consistent league lead at 2.0 BPG through 37 games, with 74 total blocks ahead of pursuers like Brittney Griner, Kiah Stokes, and Emily Engstler. Her combination of elite rim protection, length, and positioning as the Aces' defensive anchor has sustained this edge amid high usage and strong team defensive metrics. Historical dominance in the category across prior seasons reinforces trader consensus reflected in the current implied probability. Late-season injury, reduced minutes, or an unexpected surge in blocks from a high-minute defender could narrow the gap, though Wilson's statistical cushion makes such shifts improbable without major roster changes.
