This market will resolve to the exchange on which Anthropic's shares first begin public trading as part of its initial public offering (IPO). For purposes of this market, “NASDAQ” includes all listing tiers of The Nasdaq Stock Market, including the Nasdaq Global Select Market, Nasdaq Global Market, and Nasdaq Capital Market. “NYSE” includes the New York Stock Exchange and other U.S. equity listing exchanges operated under the NYSE brand, including NYSE American, NYSE Arca, and NYSE Texas. The exchange will be determined based on the primary listing venue where Anthropic's shares are initially listed and begin regular-way trading following its IPO. An IPO refers to Anthropic shares becoming listed and open for trading on a public securities exchange, whether through a traditional initial public offering or a direct listing. If Anthropic becomes publicly traded through a merger, SPAC transaction, reverse merger, acquisition, or absorption by an entity that is already publicly traded, this market will resolve to "Other". If Anthropic lists on multiple exchanges simultaneously, the exchange designated as the primary listing venue by the company or in official exchange materials will be used for resolution. If Anthropic lists primarily on an exchange other than the Nasdaq Stock Market or the New York Stock Exchange, or if its shares do not begin regular-way public trading through an IPO or direct listing by December 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "Other". Announcements, reports, or indications of intended listing venue prior to the IPO will not be considered. The market will resolve based on the actual listing at the time trading begins. The primary resolution source will be official information from Anthropic or the relevant exchange; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Strong trader consensus around an 82.5% implied probability for NASDAQ stems from the dominant pattern among high-growth artificial intelligence and technology firms, which favor its deep liquidity, tech-sector visibility, and listing standards over the more traditional NYSE. Anthropic’s confidential S-1 filing in June 2026 and ongoing preparations for a late-September prospectus and mid-October marketing window align with this precedent, as seen with comparable AI developers and large-cap software companies. The modest 15% chance assigned to “Other” and just 3% for NYSE reflect limited precedent for such an outcome and the absence of any credible reporting suggesting a departure from NASDAQ norms. Key upcoming catalysts include the public S-1 release and final exchange selection, which could still shift if regulatory or market conditions evolve before the planned debut.
