The San Francisco 49ers' dominant 35-13 home win over the Miami Dolphins on September 20 featured Brock Purdy completing 20 of 22 passes for 287 yards and two touchdowns while adding a rushing score, helping the Niners score on their first five drives. Christian McCaffrey reached his 100th career touchdown with two short runs, and tight end George Kittle scored his first touchdown since returning from injury. Miami, now 0-2 under new coaching and with Malik Willis at quarterback, managed just 284 total yards and was held scoreless in the second half. Broadcast discussions on the FOX call likely centered on San Francisco's efficiency, McCaffrey's milestone, the 49ers' receiver injuries to Mike Evans and Demarcus Robinson, and Miami's offensive struggles after their Week 1 loss.
