Carnell Tate, the Titans' fourth-overall pick out of Ohio State, enters his 2026 rookie season as the projected lead wideout in Tennessee's revamped passing attack alongside quarterback Cam Ward. He posted nine receiving touchdowns in 11 games as a junior and drew praise for his route-running, contested-catch ability, and downfield threat during OTAs and camp. Recent reports note minor stiffness that caused him to miss one practice, though he remains expected to suit up for Week 1 against the Jets. Competing targets from Wan'Dale Robinson and Calvin Ridley, plus the Titans' overall offensive growing pains under new coordinators, could cap his early volume, while his draft pedigree and athletic profile support a realistic path to double-digit targets in favorable matchups over the 17-game schedule.
