This market will resolve to the player who wins the 2026 National League Comeback Player of the Year award for the 2026 MLB Season. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLB season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Baseball; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Zack Wheeler leads the NL Comeback Player of the Year market at 76% implied probability following his return from thoracic outlet syndrome surgery that sidelined him early in the 2026 season. The Phillies right-hander has compiled a 12-5 record with a 3.23 ERA over 136.1 innings, delivering multiple quality starts and strikeout totals that align with his prior ace-level form despite a mid-August dip. Sandy Alcantara sits second at 6% after logging 200 innings and a 3.78 ERA for the Marlins, showcasing durability gains but recent outings with elevated runs allowed. Lower-probability names such as Michael Harris II and Brandon Woodruff trail amid more modest statistical rebounds relative to prior injury-limited campaigns. Trader consensus reflects Wheeler’s combination of injury severity and sustained production as the dominant narrative heading into the final weeks.
