Josh Allen enters the 2026 NFL season as the Buffalo Bills' established franchise quarterback under first-year head coach Joe Brady, who previously coordinated the offense. The addition of receiver DJ Moore provides a proven big-play threat alongside existing weapons, supporting expectations for improved passing efficiency and volume after Allen posted 25 passing touchdowns and 3,668 yards in 2025 while leading the league in quarterback rushing production. The Bills open against the Texans amid a competitive schedule that could force more aggressive aerial attacks in shootouts. Official projections place Allen near 24-25 passing touchdowns for the year, reflecting a balanced offense with strong run-game elements and continuity on the line. Allen remains fully healthy entering Week 1 with no reported limitations.
