Current forecast models indicate a high near 92°F in Houston on September 14, driven by a warm southerly flow under partly sunny skies with scattered afternoon thunderstorms that are unlikely to substantially cool the air mass. This aligns with above-average late-summer conditions, where high humidity and light southeast winds support temperatures in the low to mid-90s, exceeding the 1991–2020 climatological mean high of about 90°F. Model consensus across sources shows limited day-to-day variability, positioning the 92–93°F range as the leading outcome while assigning lower probabilities to 96°F+ extremes due to the modest intensification potential and storm coverage uncertainty. Updated National Weather Service guidance and ensemble runs will refine these projections ahead of resolution.
