Brock Bowers enters the 2026 NFL season coming off a meniscus trim procedure performed September 8-9, with reports indicating he will miss at least the Raiders’ Week 1 opener against the Dolphins and potentially Week 2 versus the Chargers. The 23-year-old tight end had already dealt with a lingering left knee issue throughout 2025, limiting him to 12 games, 64 receptions, 680 yards, and seven touchdowns despite strong per-game efficiency when active. His 2024 rookie totals of 112 catches for 1,194 yards set benchmarks for the position, and trader consensus on season-long receiving yards reflects both the immediate missed games and optimism around improved quarterback play under new coach Klint Kubiak with Kirk Cousins and rookie Fernando Mendoza. A healthy return by Week 3 could still position the two-time Pro Bowler for substantial volume in an offense expected to target the tight end heavily.
