This market will resolve according to the team that wins the Western Conference Finals for the 2027 Stanley Cup Playoffs. If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed team to win the 2027 Western Conference Finals per the rules of NHL (e.g., they are eliminated in the playoffs), the corresponding market will resolve to “No”. If the 2027 NHL season is cancelled, postponed after June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The primary resolution source will be official information from NHL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The 2026-27 Western Conference features a tightly bunched group of contenders whose recent regular-season dominance and playoff pedigrees keep implied probabilities clustered. The Colorado Avalanche enter as slight frontrunners after capturing the Presidents’ Trophy in 2025-26 with elite forward depth led by Nathan MacKinnon and Cale Makar’s Norris-level defense, though a first-round sweep exposed postseason vulnerabilities. Close behind sit the Edmonton Oilers, powered by Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl, the Dallas Stars’ consistent depth and goaltending, and the Vegas Golden Knights’ proven playoff resilience after reaching the 2026 Stanley Cup Final. Minnesota Wild additions and strong underlying metrics further compress the field, while lower-tier clubs like the Sharks and Ducks lack comparable roster construction or recent momentum heading into training camp.
